Greetings from the Department of General Surgery, CMC Vellore!

I am pleased to welcome you to the Dr AS FENN GENERAL SURGERY CME
conducted between August 12th to 14th 2026 by the General Surgery
Department, Christian Medical College, Vellore.

Dr AS Fenn, one the previous heads of the General surgery department was known for his love of teaching. In his memory, the department conducts a yearly CME, aimed at teaching post graduate students with it’s primary focus on final year post graduates, helping them prepare for their final year exams.

The CME includes bed-side case discussions, panel discussions and symposiums which would help students not just in their exams but in their practice there-after.

CMC, being a multi-specialty, tertiary care center offers students an exposure to a wide range of cases.

On behalf of the Department of General Surgery, I look forward to welcoming you at the Dr AS Fenn CME. I hope this event proves fruitful not just for the exams, but in the years to come.
